The Computer Information Technology Academy [CITA] will utilize a rigorous and integrated curriculum to engage students in a variety of learning experiences that will prepare them to enter one of many robust, twenty-first century, technological careers.
CITA provides a combination of engineering, robotics and automated systems, digital electronics, and coding skills through thought-provoking, hands-on, real-world experiences. CITA students combine these skills to create products that carry out complex tasks, such as building a robot. Where else can a student learn to build, program, and compete with robots and get a grade for it?
CITA students share many of the same teachers, which allows for strong group collaboration and a learning environment that feels more personalized. We partner with local universities and employers to help develop curricula, provide guest speakers, and create real-world relevant experiences for our students.
