TN Promise application deadline 11/1/2025 and FAFSA reminder

📣 Attention Seniors and Senior Parents!
The TN Promise application deadline is November 1, 2025! 🎓
The TN Promise scholarship offers eligible Tennessee high school seniors two years of tuition-free attendance at a community or technical college after graduation.
 
Fall Break offers a great opportunity for you to sit down with your student and complete the application. 
 
All seniors are encouraged to apply—no matter their postsecondary plans! 

It is important for every senior to complete this to keep options open and still have the chance at college tuition-free options. While you may not think you intend to use this avenue now, I have seen many plans change by the end of the year while here at NEHS. It is painful to see seniors who did not complete this short application miss out on having this as an option come graduation day!

Please remind your student to complete the application as soon as possible at www.tnpromise.gov.

💡 Students will need the following to apply:

• Full name (as it appears on their Social Security card)
• Social Security Number
• Date of birth
• Personal email address (not school email)
